Valley Beat - PCSO Update

🚓 Community Engagement Update 🚓

Over the past week, I have been carrying out a range of duties within the local community in my role as a Police Community Support Officer.

I assisted with a broken‑down vehicle in Castle Donington, helping to ensure the safety of those involved and minimise disruption to other road users.

I also attended Bright Hope in Swannington, where I delivered a talk focusing on personal safety and house security, providing practical advice and guidance to those in attendance.

In addition, I visited Worthington Church Café, where I engaged with local residents, offered crime prevention advice, and promoted Neighbourhood Link, highlighting the importance of staying informed about local policing matters.

Throughout the week, I have also responded to reports from residents regarding vehicles obstructing pavements, along with vehicles believed to be without a valid MOT or insurance, taking appropriate action where required and providing reassurance to the community.

🚗 A reminder to all motorists: when parking, you should allow enough space for a double buggy and a mobility scooter to pass, ensure vehicles are parked legally, and be considerate of neighbours and other road users.
